Everything about your child, in one place

The OurPath info bank is a shared record of the practical details about your children — medical, school, sizes, contacts, documents. Both parents can see it and both can update it. Every change is recorded, so it's always current and never anyone's job to remember.

The 4pm problem #

Your child is at the other parent's house. They've been stung. Which antihistamine, what dose, and are they allergic to anything else?

Or: the school needs the emergency contact form back tomorrow, and it's in a drawer at the other house. Or nobody can remember whether the new shoes were a 12 or a 13, so someone buys the wrong ones again.

None of this is a dispute. It's just information living in one house when it's needed in the other.

What goes in #

Health — GP and dentist, allergies, medication and doses, conditions, immunisations, hospital numbers, upcoming appointments.

School — which school and class, teacher, office number, term dates, clubs, SEN arrangements, who's on the collection list.

Sizes — clothes, shoes, coat, what actually fits right now rather than what fitted in March.

Contacts — childminder, club leaders, close family, anyone who might collect.

Documents — passports and expiry dates, birth certificate, letters from school, medical reports, the immunisation record. Stored, shared, and there when a form needs filling in.

Anything else — the bedtime routine, the comfort toy's name, the food they'll actually eat.

Both of you can edit it #

This isn't one parent's file that the other is allowed to read. Both of you can add and update, and the record shows who changed what and when — not to police it, but so that when two entries disagree you can see which is newer.

It comes later, on purpose #

You will not be asked for any of this while you're signing up.

Onboarding is deliberately minimal: join, review the plan, accept. That's it. If your mediator is setting you up at the end of a session, the last thing anyone needs is a form asking for immunisation dates.

The info bank appears afterwards, as a set of "finish setting up" prompts you can work through whenever you like, in any order, or ignore entirely.
