One calendar, two homes
The OurPath calendar is a shared custody schedule for separated parents in the UK. It builds itself from your parenting plan, knows your local authority's school term dates, and records every change both of you agree to.
It builds itself #
You don't set up a calendar. You agree a plan, and the calendar appears — eighteen months of it, rolling forward. Week on week off, alternate weekends with a midweek, 2-2-3, or something irregular that only makes sense for your family: tap the days on a fortnight grid and OurPath works out the pattern.
Each parent has a colour. Never red and green — red implies fault, and nobody's at fault for having Tuesdays.
UK school term dates, by local authority #
Term dates are not national. Your council's October half term might not be the next county's, and INSET days certainly aren't. OurPath carries term and holiday dates for local authorities across England and Wales, so half term is already on your calendar before either of you has to look it up.
Swaps that end the argument about swaps #
"Can you take Thursday, I'll give you the Sunday?"
In OurPath that's a request, not a text. Propose the days, add a note, and your co-parent accepts or declines with a reason. Accepted swaps override the schedule and are permanently recorded.
The point isn't the workflow. The point is that six weeks later, "you never agreed to that" is a question with an answer.
Everything else on the day #
Handover times and places. One-off events — the school play, the dentist, the birthday party. A home screen that answers the only two questions anyone actually has: where are the children today, and when's the next handover.
You can also push your own days into your personal Google or Apple calendar, one-way, so you're not checking two apps.
